Brandon Green

Bio/Description

Profile

Brandon Green is a student of Roman cultural history, with a particular focus on the roles of images and objects performed in antiquity. In addition to his interests in Roman art in context, he is fascinated by the long afterlife of ancient material culture, especially the politics of spoliation and the history of collecting.

Green received his B.A. (Hons) in Classics from Cambridge and his M.A. in museum studies from New York University. He spent three years working as a private guide to the museums and monuments of Rome, and although most of him resides in Princeton, his heart remains in the Eternal City.
