Francesca Butterfield

Modern and Contemporary Art


Francesca is a first year Ph.D. student in the Department of Art & Archaeology specializing in the history of photography. She received an MLitt in the history of photography from University of St Andrews and a B.A. in art history from Barnard College.

Prior to moving to Princeton, Francesca worked at a London-based photobook publisher and wrote for Source.
