Bio/Description

Meredith Hanna Noorda is a Ph.D. student focusing on early modern art and material culture. Her research interests center on seventeenth and eighteenth-century textiles, and their uses and meanings in Christian ritual and devotional practices. She received her B.A. in Art History with a minor in French from Brigham Young University, and an M.A.R. in Religion and the Arts from Yale Divinity School and Institute of Sacred Music.
