Samuel Shapiro

Modern Art


Samuel Shapiro is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Art & Archaeology, studying twentieth- and twenty-first-century art history. He is particularly interested in the institutional reception of postwar art. Samuel has recently worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, and Harvard Art Museums. He received a B.A. in History of Art and Architecture and Social Anthropology from Harvard University in 2018.
