Profile

Sara Green is a Ph.D. candidate studying modern and contemporary art, primarily interested in visual art in 20th-century France and intersections between artistic and literary practices. Her dissertation concerns the visual practices of the post-WWII Lettrist movement and has been supported by a Donald and Mary Hyde Academic-Year Fellowship for Research Abroad and a Beinecke Library Research Fellowship.

Green holds an M.A. in the history of art from the Williams College Graduate Program and a B.A. in art history and French from Oberlin College. She has previously held positions at the Allen Memorial Art Museum, the Clark Art Institute and its Research and Academic Program, and the Joan Mitchell Catalogue Raisonné project.
