Ariel Kline

After graduating from Marymount Manhattan College with a degree in philosophy, Ariel Kline received an MA from Williams College and the Clark Art Institute. Her qualifying paper focused on the commercial logo known as His Master’s Voice, a project that allowed her to combine joint interests in British art, animal studies, the history of science, and advertising culture. Ariel is also interested in the historiography of art history, with attention to critical histories of camp, kitsch, outsider art, and other aesthetic categories.
