Conference overview
Where to locate the architecture of confinement? In what ways does time manifest itself through an experience of confinement? How is care conceived? How do individuals experience a space of confinement? This conference explores the materialization of spaces of confinement. Activists, survivors, scholars from history and law, as well as architects, designers, and artists will shed light on questions of Time, Site, Care, and the Individual. Their cross-disciplinary exchange will open new perspectives on the effects and features of the architecture of confinement. Website: https://confinement.princeton.edu/
