Jason Cyrus is a curator of visual and material culture. His exhibitions use fashion and textile history to explore questions of creativity, identity, cultural exchange, and agency. In this workshop, Cyrus considers how textile and fashion-based research can be used as a platform for engagement and reparation. Citing examples from his practice as evidence, he shares the potency of collaborative research creation as a means of institutional intervention. This workshop is part of the Art Hx event series Health, Fashion, and Design.
